Traditional music of the golden era mostly, 125 m2 to dance, drinks and fingerfoods are included in the entrance fee. We like the codigos and the traditional tango. A great place to visit.
It is just outside of the historical center of the city.
There is a bus stop just outside our milonga. The bus stop is called "Mpentevi".
There is also a taxi station just next to our milonga. There are taxis anytime there.
If you are coming from away, the junction of the national road is just next to our milonga.

1 minute from the ancient Greek Theater of Larissa.
Only a very short walk (2 min) from the city center, there is a large bar called HRIDANOS (The Ant). It is a 100-year old building, , where you can dine or have a drink at the bar, listening to a variety of live or recorded music (depending on day).
Every month, it houses the where you can listen and dance to your favourite Tango music until the wee hours in the morning. It is one of the very few venues in Central and Northern Greece, where Tango Aficionados and their guests go crazy at the lovely, laid-back and cozy atmosphere created by the resident DJs, so much so that they lose track of time and rarely leave before the end of the night at around 3.00 in the morning !!!
One of the very few Traditional Milongas in Greece, "Milonga del Centro" is where you can find true Tango Estilo Milonguero music !!! It has already been registered as a unique experience in the minds of tango lovers in the area, and it is a milonga where ENTRANCE is FREE of charge !!!
We play Tango music mostly of the “Guardia Vieja” (Old Guard) from the early period of Tango, also known as “The Golden Age of Tango”. The milonga consists of traditional tandas and cortinas (following the TTV - TTM pattern) for tango dancers to enjoy and dance at. Mini surprises are often included such as live Tango music bands, guest DJs, etc. The milonga endorses and observes all of the traditional tango codes”.
