TWO DANCE HALLS, for TWO DIFFERENT STYLES OF TANGO AND MUSIC - 4pm until 8pm - only �6 on the door, for whole event, which includes a short fun "Tango Vals" class with Beto Ortiz between 3.30pm and 4pm.

iSalonTango have put together this huge happy event to suit everybody who loves tango, whether to dance, watch, listen or socialise, and therefore all Tango dancers are invited and welcomed, just come along with a good respectful attitude for your fellow dancers.

You have a choice of beautiful traditional "golden era" Argentine Tango music, played in tandas with specialist DJ Barry Leadbetter in our First Dance Hall (which probably has the largest tango dance floor in the S.E. England), or join cool DJ Wayne Rozier in our Second Dance Hall for alternative tango tracks being played back to back.

Both Tango Dance Halls have wooden floors, professional specialist Tango DJs and Sound Systems. This large venue is conveniently situated just off the A1M(j3) and has a large free on-site car park. It is also close to BR Hatfield Station (KingsX/Cambridge line). Ideal for London and the Home Counties.

Free chilled water and complimentary hot beverages are available. We also have a licensed bar (wine, beer, soft drinks), but feel free to bring your own drinks/treats for your table if you wish. If you are coming in a party of 6 people or more, you have the option of us reserving a table for you - just telephone 07910472961.

For the more recent dancers our Pr�ctica evenings are ideal as you will be in a supportive environment to help bridge the gap between classes and more public social dancing. It's also where you can practice your movements and technique and integrate them into whole dances. We're always on hand to help out.

The Open Milonga Class is suitable for Tango dancers that have completed around 4 weeks of our Foundation Programme or equivalent. We adapt the class to those who participate, giving everybody an opportunity to improve their own Milonga dance.

The Liphook Pr�ctica is open to all Tango dancers. It's very relaxed and informal and where dancers can develop their social dancing skills and get to meet many other dancers in our community.

Our music is traditional, and focuses on the tunes that were played back in the day when tango was the ultimate URBAN dance, in the 30’s and 40’s. If you haven’t heard traditional Argentine tango, it’s AMAZING.

The magic of tango is how a very simple combination of music, contact and movement can create a deep intimacy that is lost in everyday life. It’s not just about closeness of the embrace and we do dance CLOSE…. The special nature of tango is that it is a ‘travelling’ dance. This means that dancers are in a constant flow or Ronda. This is unique to tango. What makes TANGO178 special is that it’s one of the very few dance nights in London where this can be fully appreciated and experienced. We move, as a community dancing together and moving TOGETHER.

Join Milonguita, a monthly milonga for beginners & improvers - the ideal opportunity to break in your new dance shoes on a real dance floor!

We've teamed up with the charming milonga 'Tango @ the Light' in Shoreditch. Milonguita will run in the annex hall. Of course, the main hall is accessible if you feel ready to 'jump in' or if you simply want to watch more advanced dancers for inspiration.

Milonguita is open to all beginners and improvers, so bring your friends along - the more, the merrier!

When & where:
- Next Milonguita: March 31st, 7:00pm
- 7:00 - 8:00pm: Beginner class. Learn how to manage the dance floor.
- 8:00pm - till you drop: Milonga. Happy dancing after the class. You can join the main hall at any time.

Location: Tango @ The Light Temple: Austin Street, E27NT, Shoreditch, London. Off Hackney Road, at the back of Shoreditch church (St Leonard), on the corner of Austin Street and Godfreys Place (private street).

These unique Odiham Pr�ctilongas are similar to Milongas, but more informal in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. There's the added bonus of a dedicated practice area off the main dance floor so you can practice without hindering other dancers. And we're always available to help if you wish.

No formal teaching - just 3 hours of non-stop music - Tango, Vals, Milonga plus (very occasionally) something different such as Argentine Foxtrot!! In Tandas with short Cortinas to punctuate styles, orchestras etc.
All enhanced by Peter's well known choice of great music and excellent sound.

Easy to access � 5 minutes from the M3 and just off the A287. Plenty of free evening parking spaces - please take note of the parking signs for 'Cross Barn Parking'.

Traditional music in tandas. Relaxed, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. Guest DJ or the resident DJ, Ricardo Peixoto. Usually 40-60 people. Sometimes live music or performances. Nibbles and some wine for early arrivers, but can BYOB.

Easy to get to from Birmingham, Oxford, Coventry, Leicester, Stratford on Avon. Adjacent to tourist areas. Warwick SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick. Next to the Millwright Arms and almost opposite a Sainsbury local. The floor is very nice, the acoustics, great. Parking is plenty around the venue in residential areas but do not park on the pub next door or in Sainsbury’s – people have been known to be fined there! It is a short walk from Warwick railway station. There are several B and Bs nearby and hotels etc in Leamington and Warwick. Also see Tango Warwick FaceBook site.

Occasionally pre-milonga class + performance by visiting tango celebrities (with consequent change in time and price). Participants come from Birmingham, Leicester, Oxford, Northampton, Stratford on Avon, Cotswolds, and further afield.

Some nibbles,squash, and wine for early arrivers, but you may bring your own drinks.

Warwick SPACE is on the north side of the main road north of the river between Leamington and Warwick. Next to the Millwright Arms and almost opposite a Sainsbury local, it is easily reached from the M40 and A46, and about 10 minutes walk from Warwick train station. As a major tourist area there are many hotels and B&Bs nearby in Leamington & Warwick and Stratford on Avon.
