Really nice and friendly atmosphere in cosy place with good floor. Milonga take place in Dance school what is located in the central district of Riga. Dancing space is large, 15 - 20 couples can dance same time. Weekly local DJ rotation, mirada-cabeseo appreciated.

Transport: From old town, catch the trolley down Barona iela, away from the river. If you are coming from the central railway station, take the trolleybus nr. 18 or 23 down A.Caka street (also called Marijas street, closer to the station). In both cases, listen for the "Tallinas iela" stop and after getting out there, head to the right (southeast) down Tallinas street. After walking about two blocks, you will see a large, grey stone building offset from the street on the left. The trolleybus nr. 5 also stops directly in front of Balta pirts(stop: "Krasotaju iela"). It runs between Daugava stadium and Stradinu hospital (on the other side of the Daugava river).
Most taxi drivers will also know us by name. Just ask for Balta pirts. |
